CONTRIBUTION
Survey analysis, synthesis and visual communication.
A master plan for a 56-acre community park brings recreation and ecological restoration into one connected landscape. Community feedback informs renewed aquatic facilities, universal play, gathering spaces and accessible trails, while the naturalized pond and wetlands remain central to the park’s identity.
01 / COMMUNITY
Listening before planning.
Survey findings connect everyday barriers with priorities for swimming, shade, accessible trails and shared gathering spaces.
02 / MASTER PLAN
One park. A connected experience.
The overall concept links the western sports fields with the eastern recreation hub through shared paths, gathering spaces and a renewed woodland setting.
03 / RECREATION + RESTORATION
A new heart for the park.
Family and lap pools, a universal playground and the splash pad sit alongside a naturalized pond, boardwalk and wetland restoration.
04 / PARK SYSTEMS
Access and ecology, considered together.
Circulation and planting strategies connect destinations while respecting wetland buffers, woodland habitats and the conservation area.
